This privacy policy describes how Through the Maze handles information.
Data Collected
The App displays advertisements through Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource), an advertising mediation platform. To show and measure ads, Unity LevelPlay and its partner ad networks may collect:
- Advertising ID — a resettable device identifier used for ad delivery and measurement
- Device identifiers — other non-personal device identifiers used by ad networks to deliver and measure ads
- App interaction data — ad views, clicks, and in-app activity used for ad delivery, frequency capping, and measurement
- Crash logs and diagnostic data — used to monitor stability and improve app performance
The App itself does not collect names, email addresses, contact lists, location, or any other personal information.
Who Collects It
Data is collected and processed by Unity Technologies (Unity LevelPlay) and the ad networks connected through mediation. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies:
- Unity LevelPlay Privacy Policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Data Sharing
Advertising ID and app interaction data are shared with the ad networks connected through Unity LevelPlay for the purposes of advertising and analytics. Crash logs and diagnostic data are not shared with third parties beyond the mediation provider.
Purpose
The data listed above is used solely to display and measure advertisements within the App (rewarded video and interstitial ads) and to monitor app stability. It is not used for any other purpose.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad networks used by the App are configured as not directed to children.
Data Retention and Deletion
Advertising ID is managed by the device’s operating system. Users can reset or limit ad tracking through their device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Opt out of ads personalization
Data collected by ad networks is retained according to their own policies. The App does not maintain a user account system and cannot delete data held by third parties on request.
Local Data
The App stores gameplay progress (high score, level reached) locally on the device only. This data is not transmitted anywhere and is deleted when the App is uninstalled.

This policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
